I say, it's not that Singaporeans are unhelpful by nature, it's just how society's action had compelled them to behave that way. Look at NKF, the earliest in my memory to host tv show for fund raising. What happens? After this matter was over, some~~one tried to beat his record~~ monk decided to follow him. MONK for goodness' sake! He's a damn monk! I don't even care/know where the money went to. Nowadays, even monks get luxury car. Damn~

"Well ok, but his actions does not represent the organization's actions..." is what people would say in defense. But nobody realizes that the action of a single entity is the action of the entire entity in the eyes of outsiders. In this case, not just the organization but the whole charity community itself. Ugh! The pain they had to go through, to sit in meetings to ~~come up with a new auspicious name~~ try to regain the public's trust.

So after beating two bushes (all pun intended), I come to the conclusion that the bitch Geraldine had managed to sully the name of the "Singapore Zoological Gardens" because she had ~~been ditched by her boyfriend~~ ~~lost all her family in a crash with the golden toilet bowl~~ a bad day. If this had happened to a tourist, she would have destroyed the image that the great MM Lee had painstakingly created.
