"It's good to have something to do,
It's good to have someone,
It's good to have a friend,
Not an imaginary friend,
But someone there."
-Rocker Ryan Adams on his blog.

A very nice morning to start off the day with Children's Day & Hari Raya. Anyway, I drowned myself in Straits Time after breakfast. Spent one and a half hour on all that reading, hahaha.

Some articles I read:

1. Mr Mikhail Gorbachev (you know, the one whose 1980s poilcy of Glasnost, or Openess helped to end Cold War) is planning a political comeback, almost after 17 years after stepping down as the former Soviet Union's last leader. He is also co-owner of a pro-democracy newspaper.

Review: I thought all those people featured in my History textbook were all dead.

2. Dolphins at a Japanses Marine Park are going on a low-fat diet after developing pot bellies and failing to look sharp in their aquatic performances. The weight loss programme includes more white fish and less fatty mackerels in their menu.

Review: Haha, what about the increasing number of Uncles lazing & spending their time in coffeeshops drinking. Maybe they should try hitting jumping targets and tread water like the Dolphins do.

Ridiculous Gadgets.
Seitz D3 6 x 17 Camera.
A whopping 160-megapixel camera. Packed with such high resolutions and pixel quality, this 2kg camera is no tiny tot. The length of your arm, it lets you churn out images the sieze of Pluto. One image taken with this camera will take up 900mb of storage space. That means you'll proobably need the full storage space of a Macbook in order to save a single image taken on this beast.

I wonder who will buy it for S$62, 115.

Broom Light.

These $200 brooms have a built-in digital lamp at the base where the bristles are so that you know exactly what you are sweeping into the dustpan--If you strangely enough, happen to be doing your household chores in the dark. The lights even come in shades of white green and red to match the colour and design of your broom closet. Nice.

Orange Dance Charge Phone Charger.

Wave your arms in the air and charge your phone like you just don't care. As you fail your arms
about, built-in magnets in the device create an electrical current which charges the battery of a connected mobile phone. Strange how the inventor seems to have forgotten the basic--connect the darned phone to a socket and the job's done.

Have been snacking alot these days. Chocolates has become a daily essential for me, haha! Had two durian puffs after dinner one night and got Dad's nagging as well. And just yesterday, the neighbours brought Raya food over and I had a ketupat, sambal prawn, cornflakes finger food & another finger food made into the shape of a tiny sliced watermelon. (very cute I tell you!) Dad cursed me to get stomach flu since I ate so much at such late hour.

Oh whatever. I shall get going for some serious revision, if not Atiqah nags again.
